USB create instructions

Would it be possible to redo the USB stick instructions? The home page states:

"This iso image is compatible with the excellent USB Startup Disk Creator that is included with Ubuntu. Use it to put the Rescue Remix along with a persistent home on any USB flash drive."

This is a bit terse. It doesn't give any details on the excellent software (how to use, name, etc.). Also most of the Ubuntu site info on USB creation tools mentions starting with .img files, not .iso files.

There is a forum thread on USB stick creation that is rather long and has multiple sets of instructions. It is hard to decipher.

Thanks!

Starting from 8.04, Ubuntu

Starting from 8.04, Ubuntu includes a USB Startup Disk Creator.

It is run by selecting:

System - Administration - USB Startup Disk Creator.

After you enter your password, you are shown a dialogue box which you will use to define either an iso image or an existing cdrom, a target usb drive and the amount of space that you want to allocate on that drive to save documents and setting when you run from that live system. Once you click on "Make Startup Disk", the data will be written to the USB drive and it will be made bootable.

All the documentation pertaining to other methods of creating a USB boot disk are valid, but obsolete since 8.04.

Thanks!

Another way is download the iso and use unetbootin (http://sourceforge.net/projects/unetbootin/) to put it on a USB stick.
