Version Numbers

One more post tonight (besides the dd_rhelp suggestion I just made). The remix versions are tied closely to Ubuntu's releases & dates. But you might have bugfixes/component changes in between their releases due to product updates that are too important to wait on. So the easiest way to keep them straight, and remain clear about what version of Ubuntu it's based on might be to add a 3rd, 2-decimal notation at the end of the Ubuntu that it's based on.

Remix 7.10.01b would be based on Ubuntu 7.10, remix version 01 beta
Remix 7.04.02 would be based on Ubuntu 7.04, remix version 02

You get the idea. Just my 2cents.

As with Ubuntu, if there was

As with Ubuntu, if there was to be a point release, it would follow the Ubuntu versioning:

Ex: The current version of Dapper is 6.06.2 which is the second point release since 6.06.
