Login ID and password for 10-04.ISO?

First, thank you for this toolkit!

I may have missed something ...
After downloading ubuntu-rescue-remix-10-04.iso and verifying the md5sum I then put it onto an USB flash drive and booted my system fine. However, it stopped at the Login prompt and I don't remember reading about what ID and password to use.

Help!

Booting the URR should bring

Booting the URR should bring you to a command line prompt in a live session. There is no graphical interface. The live session does not ask for a password.

Do you have a casper-rw file from a previous live system on the usb flash drive? It may be using that. I cannot think of another reason why you are being asked for a password.

Thanks for the reply Andrew. It WAS another image that was booting.

Although the boot order had the old HDD last the first device was listed as usb-fdd and the rescue usb drive was skipped. As soon as I changed it to usb-cdrom it booted fine.

All is well now.
