resume finished logfile
hello thanks for a great site.
problem...
i did a DVD image recovery
sudo ddrescue -b 2048 /dev/sr0 dvdimage.iso dvdimage.log
there was 182 MB of errors.
I have another identical DVD where i want to try copying the rest og the data from to the image by resuming the log.
how do i do that? i have tried with the -T command or trying making image again. but the recovery just shows this i a splitsecond after hitting enter
xxx@xxx-desktop:/media/disk2$ sudo ddrescue -b 2048 /dev/sr0 dvdimage.iso dvdimage.log
Press Ctrl-C to interrupt
Initial status (read from logfile)
rescued: 1067 MB, errsize: 182 MB, errors: 70
Current status
rescued: 1067 MB, errsize: 182 MB, current rate: 0 B/s
ipos: 0 B, errors: 70, average rate: 0 B/s
opos: 0 B, time from last successful read: 0 s
Finished
************
why does it not resume. it seems like the software thinks it cannot read the DVD again because its finish and cannot read the sektors again
what to do?
ps. i also read that ddrescue can read from 2 DVDs at once making a workeable image if on fails it reads the other
