Is there a powerpc version ?

I know Ubuntu has a powerpc version but I do not see a Ubuntu Rescue Remix version.
I need to run this on an old emac and the live cd needs to have ddrescue.

I tried the iso here but it will not boot which makes me think it is only x846 or something like that term

There is no PPC version. If someone wants to build and support one, I will happily host it.

In the meantime, all I can suggest is you obtain an external IDE-to-USB enclosure and remove the drive(s) from the PPC box and rescue them on an x86 machine. The Rescue remix does support hsf filesystems.
